Jingdezhen Hand-Painted Vintage Ceramic Vase — Iris & Floral Mid-Century Chinese
Description
Born in the kilns of Jingdezhen and finished entirely by hand, these ceramic vases carry the unhurried spirit of classical Chinese aesthetics into the contemporary home. Each piece is thrown on the wheel, hand-painted with botanicals — poppies, hydrangeas, sunflowers, iris — and fired to a soft, speckled matte-gloss finish that recalls antique Song and Ming dynasty wares.
The irregular, tactile surfaces speak of the maker’s hand. No two pieces are identical. Display with dried pampas, fresh-cut stems, or simply as sculptural objects in their own right.
